Ph. D. Admission 2023-24
Applications are invited for admission to Ph. D. programs in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Commerce & Management, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Education, Economics, English, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Fashion Design, Forensic Science, Geography, Hindi, History, Interior Design, Journalism & Mass Communication, Law, Library & Information Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Political Science, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Yoga and Zoology.
Eligibility: Ph. D. – Master’s Degree (with minimum 55% marks or equivalent for General and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) / Physically Handicapped candidates) and successful clearance of Entrance Test. Candidates with M. Phil. / NET / GATE /SLET / SET or equivalent and a Regular Teacher in a College / University will be exempted from Entrance Test.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Interested applicants can logon to www.kalingauniversity.ac.in and apply online using KALSEE 2023 through https://admissions.kalingauniversity.ac.in/ and pay the Entrance Examination Fee as given below via the payment gateway and other available options.

About the Entrance Examination
- The first paper is common for candidates of all subjects and is of Research Methodology. It has 50 questions of two marks each. Its duration will be 1 Hr. and timing will be 12:00 pm to 01:00 pm.
- The second paper is also having 50 questions of two marks each and is of the respective subject in which the candidate wishes to pursue Ph. D. Its duration is 1 Hr. and timing will be 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm.
- Both the question papers are of multiple-choice type and there is no negative marking.
- Minimum passing marks in each paper are 50%

Application form found incomplete or received after the prescribed date will be rejected. No correspondence/enquiry from such candidates shall be entertained.
Note: Kalinga Scholarships shall not be applicable in the Ph. D. programs.
